Turkey is a high protein meat that offers many other benefits to your dogs diet. These include Tryptophan which is an essential amino acid for dogs and is a precursor of the 'feel good' hormone Serotonin. Serotonin levels also influence appetite, heart function, pain and mood. Turkey also containsSeleniumwhich is necessary for the normal functioning of the immune system and thyroid gland.

Grass-fed Beef Fat (Tallow) It is an excellent source of niacin(helps metabolise carbohydrate, protein, and fats), vitamins B6, B12, K2, selenium, iron, phosphorus, potassium and riboflavin. Grass-fed beef tallow contains high ratio of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) which is an omega-6 fatty acid known as a cancer-resistent agent, a weight management supplement while also containing a small amount of vitamin D. It has to be kept in mind that it is a saturated fat and although all dogs should have Fat as part of a balanced diet, it should be given in moderation!

Coconut oil is a wonder food for your pups. It has antibacterial, antiviral, and anti-fungal properties that protect against disease and infection. It will improve you dog's skin and coat, aid in digestion and nutrient absorption, and reduce allergic reactions. It aids in arthritis and ligament problems, helps reduce weight and increase energy.

Carob is a safe alternative to chocolate for Dogs, as well as Humans! It's nutrients include Vitamins A, B, B1, B2, B3, B6 and D, calcium, iron, magnesium, potassium, manganese and protein making this ingredient a super food! Carob is a source of fibre and pectin, which help eliminate toxins, and this super food improves digestion, lowers cholesterol, and can be used to treat diarrhoea. Allowing better absorption of calcium means it can even join the fight against osteoporosis.
